We ask for certain information pursuant to the processing of your property via a short sale. As such important information needs to be collected such as real name, birthdate, address, phone number, e-mail address, lien holder information. This information is NOT collected via the web but is collected from you through forms that are mailed to you and returned to us either by email, fax, or via mail.
We use this information to properly assess your particular situation in advance of any negotiations with your lien holders. Your information is never published publicly.
We may receive information about you from third parties, including the title companies, your lender(s), and lien holders and lenders. For example, the title company may discover information about co-owners on title of the property being short sold.
We will not rent or sell your information to any third parties. However, we are required to share information with your lenders and lien holders as necessary to negotiate the release of your liens so that your home can be sold. Information will also be shared with the attorney with whom you are engaged purusant to this short sale.
The attorney may have access to your information as is reasonably necessary to deliver the service, and we will require that such third parties comply with this Privacy Policy, or operate under a similar privacy policy.
MitigationPros will disclose your information where required to do so by law or subpoena or if we reasonably believe that such action is necessary to (a) comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement; (b) to enforce our Terms of Use or to protect the security, quality or integrity of our Service; and/or (c) to exercise or protect the rights, property, or personal safety of MitigationPros, its partners, our Users, or others.
Your information collected through the Service is be stored and processed in the United States and will not be stored in any other country. We do not use off short affiliates or personal to process your file. All members of our organization reside and work in the United States.

To protect your privacy and security, we take reasonable steps to verify your identity before disclosing information.
